As a barrier coating, it provides a tough, metallurgically bonded zinc coating, which completely covers the steel surface & seals the same from the corrosive action of the environment. Additionally sacrificial action of zinc protects steel even where damage / discontinuity occurs in coating. For damaged Galvanizing, Corroded & Welded Galvanized surfaces, cold galvanizing by Zinc Metal Spray is an ideal cure. This quick drying, high solids coating provides superb protection to steel & ferrous metals against harsh corrosive environments. Zinc Metal Spray is a premium performance epoxy coating which fuses to metal substrates to guard against corrosion. 

This coating constantly fights against rust and corrosion creepage. It is highly resistant to salt water corrosion, does not sag & may be top-coated with conventional primers, Paints & Epoxies. Cold Galvanizing Spray provides the protection of hot-dip galvanizing plus the convenience of on the job aerosol application. 

Cold Galvanizing Spray contains 95% pure zinc, forms a tough, durable, zinc metal coating that bonds electro chemically with the base metal to protect against rust & corrosion. Surface Preparation : Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry & totally free of dust, dirt Rust & scales and burnt carbon. Wipe the surface with Solvent / Thinner ( for removal of oil & Grease ) followed by Wire brushing / Grinding. Method of use for Cold Galvanizing Spray : Shake the can well for 1 to 2 minutes before spraying. Repeat shaking of can often during application. Wear protective eye wear when spraying. Point spray nozzle away from face. Hold spray can upright about 8"-12" from surface, apply thin, even coats with consistent back & forth motion. Allow 15 min to dry between coats & 6 hrs to dry before top coating. After use, or if spray spatters, turn the can upside down & spray to clean the spray mechanism. Protect surrounding surfaces from over-spray. 

MOST IMPORTANT : All HOT DIP GALVANIZED Surfaced have a NATURAL INBORN & Generic Property of GREYING ( Loosing Bright Shine ) on Exposure to Atmospheric Air, Exposure to Sunlight & UV Radiations. With the passage of Time . To Restrict this Property of All GI articles, equipment & surfaces, it is customary to BLEND ALUMINIUM Metal Powder in Such Coatings . Aluminium offers GLOSS & BRIGHT FINISH and adds to AESTHETICS and BRIGHTNESS to the Coated Metal. The most Important function and property of ANTI CORROSION : SALT SPRAY TEST LIFE is due to ZINC ( which has a natural Grey Colour. Hence any change of COLOUR SHADE on time duration is NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS ALARMING. Shade of the painted GI Surface (Either Hot Dip or COLD Galvanized Steel) is Of VERY LOW TECHNICAL SIGNIFICANCE & the Most Important property SHALL ALWAYS be Salt Spray Test Life. To RETAIN THE BRIGHTNESS of Hot Dip and Cold Galvanized surfaces over a LONGER Time Duration , The surface may be overcoated with ACRYSIL Quick Drying Clear Acrylic Lacquer by Spray application.
